Introducing Frauen Fine Art

I am excited to share that Pretty Girls Making Cool Shit is now Frauen Fine Art!

The decision to rebrand is not one I took lightly. I initially considered a small change that would allow us to advertise on various platforms, like PGMCS, using symbols like Sh!t or Sh*t, and ultimately decided that it’s not who I am anymore. I wanted something easier to say with a smaller acronym if I chose to use it. I studied painting and German in school, and eventually landed on Frauen Fine Art; Frauen being the German word for “women.”

Thank you to those of you who loved PGMCS from day one, allowing us to share your art and your stories, as well as your support and trust. The mission and vision of this platform is still the same, and this platform will continue to provide opportunities, empowerment, and support women artists across all stages of their career, while being fun and informative.

My dear friend and co-creator, Alejandra Orozco, is stepping back from collaborating on this platform for the foreseeable future as a result of medical condition. She will share information regarding her recovery process and reintroduction to art as she sees fit.
